Mesmer/Elementalist build for pvp
Hi, I'm new here so if this is in the wrong section, I apologize. I was just wondering if this is a decent build for pvp. If you have any suggestions, please suggest them for Prophecies since I don't have the other two chapters.
Fast Casting 11+1+3
Fire Magic 12
Inspiration magic 6+1
Skills:
Fireball
Immolate
Inspired Hex
Meteor Shower
Rodgort's Invocation
Fire attunement
Echo
Res signet

I think it may be in the wrong section because you are asking about a general pvp build. and you asked about a prophecies only build in the alliance battle section (factions).
You seem like you want to play an elementalist, so you may want to go E/Me instead. Fast casting can pretty much be worked around by using a 40/40 set on an elementalist.
Anyways, for prophecies only you may want to go with something like this,
[skill]Fire Attunement[/skill][skill]Elemental Attunement[/skill][skill]Rodgorts Invocation[/skill][skill]Immolate[/skill][skill]Searing Heat[/skill][skill]Blinding Flash[/skill][skill]Glyph Of Lesser Energy[/skill][skill]Resurrection Signet[/skill]
Should be able to do some good damage, has some utility with blinding flash, and res sig is always good. You'll Have more than enough energy with this build. Rodgorts does a lot of damage and immolate is good for keeping pressure up. Searing for some aoe (good at cleaning up spirits in places such as RA and HA)
Skills like [skill]Meteor Shower[/skill] are expensive and have a long cast which isn't very good in pvp.

PVP hates sup runes, because the extra damage/casting time reduction/minion amount/whatever isn't worth 75 health. Oh and nuking is kinda bad.

...depends on type of PvP you wish to play. I suggest you'd check out the Random Arena/Team Arena sections first.

try this on for size. for AB only :P
clears shrines like a champ. not so much on 1v1. get a good healer, a melee, and a good 1v1 char with you on your team, and you can pwn.

seeing as the build above my post contains both faction and NF skills I doubt this matters.
